Connecting and Disconnecting Service Fittings




R-12 FITTINGS







The R-12 system utilizes "schrader" valves for connecting the recycling station hoses to the high and low pressure sides of the refrigerant system. Care must be taken when connecting the hoses to the fittings since they are identical.

R-134a FITTINGS
R-134a system service equipment uses unique quick disconnect service fittings. The high and low side fittings have different diameters and only approved R-134a equipment should be connected.

SAFETY CAPS







When system service is complete, the protective safety sealing caps must always be reinstalled.
