Replacing Module For Passenger Compartment Sensor (Rear)




Removing And Installing/Replacing Module For Passenger Compartment Sensor (Rear)

Special tools required:
- 00 9 317

Release center console in rear area.







Lift center console (1) slightly and feed housing (2) in direction of arrow out of guides.

Installation Note: Make sure housing (2) is correctly sealed in guides.







Press module for passenger compartment sensor (1) in direction of arrow as far as it will go into housing (2).
Disconnect plug connection (3) and remove housing (2) with module for passenger compartment sensor.







Press down retaining lugs (1) with special tool 00 9 317 and remove module for passenger compartment sensor (2) in direction of arrow from housing (3).

Installation Note: Retaining lugs (1) must not be damaged.
