Rain Sensor: Service and Repair

Removing And Installing/Replacing Rain Sensor

Remove inside rearview mirror.

Pull out retaining clips (2) in each case in direction of arrow and remove.
Unclip rain sensor (3) at bottom in direction of arrow.
Disconnect plug connection (1) and remove rain sensor (3).

Installation Note: Do not damage optical element below rain sensor (3).

Only with replacement by a rain sensor already deployed in wipe mode:
Initialize rain sensor (DIS).
