Roll Bar Control Module: Service and Repair




65 77 770 - Removing and installing (replacing) rollover controller





Important!
Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic damage (ESD protection) 61 35 ... Notes on ESD Protection (Electro Static Discharge).





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect battery negative lead 61 20 900 Disconnecting and Connecting Battery Negative Lead
- Remove backrest Removing and Installing / Replacing Rear Seat for rear seat





Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release screws (2) and remove rollover controller (3).

Installation Note:
Replace screws (2).
Tightening torque 65 77 7AZ 72 12 Airbag Triggering Control.





Replacement:
Release screws (1) and remove rollover controller (2) from holder (3).

Installation Note:
Replace screws (1).
Tightening torque 65 77 8AZ 72 12 Airbag Triggering Control.
