Removing and Installing/Replacing Reinforcement Brace




31 11 004 - Removing and installing/replacing reinforcement brace





Important!
Observe safety instructions 00 .. ... Lifting Vehicle With A Lifting Platform for raising the vehicle
Driving without the reinforcement brace is not permitted!





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove front assembly underside protection Removing and Installing/Replacing Front Underbody Protection
- Remove reinforcement cover on left and right





Partly detach underbody panelling on left and right Removing and Installing/Replacing Left or Right Underbody Panelling in area of reinforcement brace
Release screws (1).
Remove reinforcement brace (2).

Installation Note:
Replace screws and insertion nuts.
Tightening torque 31 10 2AZ Front Axle Suspension.
