Convertible Top Control Module: Service and Repair




61 35 146 - Removing and installing/replacing convertible top module





Important!
Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic damage (ESD protection) 61 35 ... Notes on ESD Protection (Electro Static Discharge).





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove panel for passenger compartment partition





Disconnect plug connection (1).





Release expansion rivets (1).
Fold back insulating mat (3).
Unlock catch (2) and remove convertible top module (4) from device carrier ().





Replacement:
Carry out programming/coding Programming and Relearning.
