Clutch-slip Monitoring

The DME/DDE compares the engine speed and transmission input speed. The difference between these speeds enables non-permitted clutch slip to be detected.

If non-permitted clutch slip is detected, the DME/DDE reduces the engine torque. In addition, a fault is entered. This monitoring is active at full load.
