NOTE: In the event of a power failure or electrical fault, the electromechanical parking brake and the parking interlock can be manually released.

Observe following sequence:
1. Secure vehicle against rolling, e.g. with chocks.
2. Manually release electromechanical parking brake.
3. Then manually release parking interlock of automatic transmission
