Removing and Installing (Replacing) Control Unit/Module For Seat Heating (Without 3RD Seat Row)




61 35 095 - Removing and installing (replacing) control unit/module for seat heating (rear seat with rear cabin fan without 3rd seat row on left or right)





Important!
Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic damage (ESD protection) 61 35 ... Notes on ESD Protection (Electro Static Discharge).





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect battery negative lead 61 20 900 Disconnecting and Connecting Battery Negative Lead
- Unclip and raise rear seat Removing and Installing / Replacing Rear Seat





Feed control unit/module for seat heating (1) out of rear seat (2).
Disconnect plug connections (3) and remove control unit/module for seat heating (1).

Installation Note:
If necessary, set down rear seat (2) on body and feed control unit/module for seat heating (1) from rear (between rear seat and backrest) into rear seat (2).
Lay wiring harness so that it cannot be damaged when rear seat (2) is installed.
Make sure control unit/module for seat heating (1) is correctly seated in rear seat (2).
