Programming and Relearning

KEYLESS ENTRY MODULE REPROGRAMMING

NOTE: The complete reprogramming procedure must be completed within 30 seconds of grounding the reprogramming (VAC) connector. If reprogramming procedure is not completed in 30 seconds, remove the ground from the connector and restart with step 1.


This procedure should be used whenever a replacement transmitter is to be used.

1. Turn Ignition on.
2. Ground BLK/WHT 1455 wire (green connector), located in the trunk next to Keyless Entry Module.
3. Wait for the Door Locks to lock and unlock. (This will take two seconds).
4. Press the Unlock Button of the first Transmitter twice with a pause.
5. Wait for the Door Locks to lock and unlock again. (This will take another two seconds.)
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 using the second Transmitter. If only one Transmitter is being used, repeat steps 4 and 5 with the same Transmitter.
7. Remove the ground from green connector.
