Brake Telltale

TEST CONDITION(S)
1. Ignition is on.

FAILURE CONDITION(S)
1. Brake fluid level is low for at least 5 seconds.
OR
2. Parking brake set with transmission not in Park or Neutral.

ACTION TAKEN
1. Display the Brake telltale on the IPC.

DESCRIPTION
The BCM provides system voltage to the brake circuits which will close to pull the line to ground. Once the BCM has determined that all of the failure conditions have been met, it will send a message to the IPC instructing it to turn on the Brake telltale.
