Scan Tool Data Definitions

8 Digit GM Part Number: The scan tool displays an 8 digit alphanumeric number. The part number of the module.

Calibration ID: The scan tool displays 0-9999. The number designating what calibrations the module contains.

Component Serial # 8-11: The scan tool displays 0-9999.The first partition of the serial number.

Component Serial # 12: The scan tool displays 0-9.The second partition of the serial number.

Component Serial # 13-1: The scan tool displays 0-9.The third partition of the serial number.

Component Serial #17-1: The scan tool displays 0-9.The fourth partition of the serial number.

Jullian Date of Build: The scan tool displays 0-999. The day of the year that the module was built.

PROM ID: The scan tool displays 0-9999. The identification number of the modules internal PROM.

Trunk Release Switch: The scan tool displays ON/OFF. The scan tool displays ON when the trunk release switch is pressed.

Trunk Release Relay: The scan tool displays ON/OFF. The scan tool displays ON for 1/2 second when the trunk release switch is pressed.

Year Module Built: The scan tool displays a 199-2020. The production year the module was manufactured.
