Access the MID mode by using the IPM when operating in AUTO mode.
The IPM energizes the
mode actuator to:

Close the defroster door
^
Position the A/C door to direct air through the panel outlets
The IPM energizes the air mix actuators to:

Determine the proper air discharge temperatures
^
Position the air mix valves accordingly
