Mid/Floor Setting

The IPM energizes the air inlet and mode actuators to:
^ Close the defroster door
^ Position the air inlet door to the outside air position
^ Position the A/C door to direct air through the panel and floor outlets

The blower pulls the outside air into the system. The air is cooled and dehumidified. The adjusted air is heated as necessary. Air is delivered to the floor and instrument panel outlets.

The IPM energizes the air mix actuators to:
^ Determine the proper air discharge temperatures
^ Position the air mix valves accordingly
