Transmission Temperature Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure






1. Remove the case side cover. Refer to Case Side Cover Replacement.
2. Remove the wiring harness from the fluid temperature sensor (391).
3. Remove the fluid temperature sensor.

Installation Procedure






1. Install the fluid temperature sensor (391).
2. Install the wiring harness assembly with fluid temperature sensor.
3. Install the case side cover. Refer to Case Side Cover Replacement.
4. Check the fluid level. Refer to Fluid Capacity Specifications.
