Front Door Window Motor: Service and Repair



Front Side Door Window Regulator Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Close the window.
2. Remove the door trim panel.
3. Peel the water deflector down far enough in order to access the window clamp bolts. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.
4. Remove the window regulator (1).




5. Remove the power window motor to window regulator fasteners (2).
6. Remove the power window motor (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the power window motor (1) to the window regulator (3).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the power window motor to regulator fasteners (2).

Tighten the window motor fasteners to 4 N.m (62 lb in).

3. Install the window regulator.
4. Install the water deflector.
5. Install the door trim panel.
