PASS-Key Reader/Exciter Replacement

IMPORTANT: The wire routing for the components inside the steering column is critical. When servicing the ignition lock cylinder, maintain proper wire routing.

It is not necessary to match the replacement PASS-Key III module to the ignition key. All replacement PASS-Key III modules automatically learn the ignition key transponder value of the first ignition key used to start the vehicle. The ignition key transponder value is learned permanently, so caution should be used to ensure that unwanted ignition key transponder values are not learned.
