Power Mirror Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the garnish molding. Refer to Front Side Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement (Garnish Molding Replacement - Front Door Frame) .
3. Remove the insulator.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.




5. Remove the 3 nuts (2).
6. Remove the mirror (1).



Installation Procedure





1. Route the mirror wiring harness through the opening in the door frame.
2. Install the mirror (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.


Important: Do not exceed 6 N.m (53 lb in) or the studs may pull from the mirror assembly.


3. Install the fasteners (2).

Tighten the fasteners to 5 N.m (44 lb in).





4. Install the insulator.
5. Connect the electrical connectors.
6. Install the garnish molding. Refer to Front Side Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement (Garnish Molding Replacement - Front Door Frame) .
7. Install the trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
