Power Window Motor: Service and Repair





Power Window Motor Replacement

Important: Ensure that the window is in the full-up position.

1. Remove the door trim panel. Front Door Panel
2. Remove the water deflector.






3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Remove the power window motor fasteners (2).
5. Remove the power window door motor (1).

Installation Procedure






Important: Do not force the power window motor into position. Ensure that the gear on the motor and the gear on the regulator mesh properly. If the motor does not seat onto the module assembly, then manually move the window up or down slightly until the motor fits tightly against the window module.

1. Install the motor (1).
2. Install the fasteners (2).
3. Connect the electrical connector.
4. Install the water deflector.
5. Install the door trim panel.
