Power Window Switch: Service and Repair

Rear Door Power Window Switch Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open the ashtray lid.
2. Insert fingers into the front portion of the opening.
3. Lift the front portion up in order to release the spring clip.




4. Slide the switch plate forward to release the rear retainer tabs.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.




6. Using a small flat bladed tool, release the retainer tabs on the switch plate.
7. Remove the power window switch.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Snap the power window switch into the switch plate
2. Install the electrical connectors.




3. Insert the tabs at the rearward end of the switch plate under the door trim panel.




4. Press down on the front edge of the switch plate to engage the retainer clip.
5. Install the ashtray into the opening.
