Outside Rearview Mirror Glass Replacement

Removal Procedure





Caution: When working with any type of glass or sheet metal with exposed or rough edges, wear approved safety glasses and gloves in order to reduce the chance of personal injury.

Important: You can replace the mirror face without removing the entire mirror housing.


1. Carefully push the mirror face on one end to gain access to the retainer on the rear side.
2. Carefully pull the mirror face in order to disengage the mirror face from the mirror housing.
3. Disengage the plastic clips on the back side of the mirror face.
4. Remove the mirror face from the mirror housing.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the mirror face on the mirror housing.
2. Press the mirror face into the mirror housing until fully seated.
