Cigarette Lighter: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) accessory trim plate.
2. Disconnect the cigarette lighter electrical connector (1).
3. Remove the IP cigarette lighter socket retainer (2).
4. Remove the cigarette lighter spacer and socket (3) from the IP ashtray.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the cigarette lighter spacer and socket (3) into the IP ashtray.
2. Install the IP cigarette lighter socket retainer (2).
3. Connect the cigarette lighter electrical connector (1).
4. Install the instrument panel (IP) accessory trim plate.
