Turn Signals: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Remove the rear compartment convenience net, if equipped, from the plastic wingnut retainers.




3. Remove the visible plastic wingnut retaining the Taillamp.
4. Pull back the corner of the rear compartment trim panel to access the remaining plastic wingnuts.
5. Apply light pressure to the Taillamp lens to retain the lamp in position during removal of the remaining plastic wingnut retainers.
6. Remove the remaining plastic wingnuts retaining the Taillamp.
7. Carefully remove the Taillamp assembly from the rear body panel and support the Taillamp assembly.
8. Rotate each lamp socket counterclockwise to release and remove from the Taillamp housing assembly.
9. Remove the Taillamp housing assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install each lamp socket to the Taillamp housing assembly and rotate each socket counterclockwise to secure.
2. Carefully align and install the Taillamp assembly to the rear body panel.
3. Apply light pressure to the lens to retain the lamp in position during installation of the plastic wingnut retainers.
4. Install the Taillamp assembly plastic wingnut retainers, which will be hidden by the rear compartment trim panel.
5. Install the corner of the rear compartment trim panel into position.
6. Install the Taillamp remaining plastic wingnut retainer.




7. Install the rear compartment convenience net, it equipped, to the plastic wingnut retainers.
8. Close the rear compartment lid.
