Bracket Replacement - Vehicle Location Antenna Module



BRACKET REPLACEMENT - VEHICLE LOCATION ANTENNA MODULE

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) trim pad.
2. Remove the vehicle location antenna module bracket bolts (3, 4, 5).
3. Remove the communication interface module screws.
4. Lower the communication interface module to the floor.




5. Remove the vehicle location antenna module bracket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Align the communication interface module to the vehicle location antenna module bracket.
2. Install the communication interface module screws.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




3. Align the vehicle location antenna module bracket to the locator on the I/P carrier (cross car beam).
4. Start the bolts by hand to avoid cross threading. Install the vehicle location antenna module bracket bolts (3, 4, 5).

Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

5. Install the I/P trim pad.
