INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER CONTROL SOLENOID REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove and reposition the power steering fluid reservoir to gain access.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT disconnect the power steering hoses or drain the power steering fluid.

2. Disconnect the electrical connector to the control module for the intake manifold runner.
3. Remove the intake manifold runner control solenoid bolts.
4. Remove the intake manifold runner control solenoid.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the intake manifold runner control solenoid.
2. Install the intake manifold runner control solenoid bolts.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the intake manifold runner control solenoid bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector to the control module for the intake manifold runner.
4. Install the power steering fluid reservoir.
