Oil Pump: Service and Repair



Oil Pump Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the oil pan.
2. Remove the oil pump bolt.
3. Remove the oil pump and the oil pump drive shaft.

Installation Procedure

Important: Rotate the oil pump drive shaft as necessary in order to obtain the engagement with the oil pump drive unit.




1. Install the oil pump drive shaft and the oil pump.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the oil pump bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).

3. Install the oil pan.
