Drive Belt: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Install a 3/8 inch drive on the tensioner arm and rotate the arm counterclockwise.

2. Remove the drive belt.

INSTALLATION
1. Route the belt over all the pulleys except the generator.
2. Observe belt routing for vehicles without air conditioning.
3. Observe belt routing for vehicles with air conditioning.
4. Install a 3/8 inch drive on the tensioner arm and rotate the arm counterclockwise.
5. Install the belt over the generator pulley.
