Starter Motor: Testing and Inspection
Flywheel To Pinion Clearance:
A high pitched whine while cranking the engine or as the
key is released can be caused by improper flywheel to pinion clearance. Refer to
"Adjusting Pinion Clearance" for pinion clearance adjustment procedures.
