Cooling System: Service Precautions
WARNING: This vehicle is equipped with Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR). See Air Bags and Seat Belts and the SIR component and wiring location before performing service on or around SIR components or wiring. Failure to follow WARNINGS could result in possible air bag deployment, personal injury, or otherwise unneeded SIR system repairs.Do not remove the surge tank cap to check engine coolant level; check coolant visually at the surge tank. Add coolant to the surge tank only when the system cools.
