Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair






REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.

2. Remove the sensor (1) from the evaporator tube (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Coat the new O-ring with clean 525 refrigerant oil prior to assembly.

1. Install the sensor (1) onto evaporator tube (3).

- Tighten the refrigerant pressure sensor (1) to 4.75 N.m (42 lb. in).

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Connect the electrical connector.
