Rear Lift Window Panel Latch Bracket

Rear Lift Window Panel Latch Bracket: Removal Procedure:




REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Open the rear compartment lift window.
2. Remove the rear floor side stowage compartment cover.
3. Remove the rear/end corner carpet trim panel.

4. Disconnect the actuator electrical connector. Remove the taillamps (for access to latch bracket nuts).
5. Remove the nuts attaching the latch bracket.
6. Remove the latch bracket with latch.
7. Transfer parts as necessary.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Position the latch with bracket to the rear body panel.
2. Install the nuts attaching the latch bracket.

Tighten
Tighten the latch bracket mounting nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in General Information.

3. Connect the actuator electrical connector.

4. Install the rear/end corner carpet trim panel.
5. Install the rear floor side stowage compartment cover.
6. Install the taillamps.

Tighten
Tighten the taillamp mounting screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
