Rear Lift Window Panel Latch

Rear Lift Window Panel Latch: Removal Procedure:




REMOVAL PROCEDURE
^ If necessary, the rear compartment lift window panel may be manually released by pulling on the manual release cables located behind the cargo compartment rear corner carpet panels.

1. Open the rear compartment lift window panel.
2. Remove the rear floor side stowage compartment cover.

3. Remove the rear/end corner carpet trim panel.
4. Slide the cargo lamp up out of the trim panel.

5. Remove the bolts attaching the latch.
6. Remove the latch.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Position the latch to the latch bracket.
2. Install the bolts attaching the latch.

Tighten
Tighten the latch mounting bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in General Information.

3. Install the cargo lamp to the trim panel.

4. Install the rear/end corner carpet trim panel.
5. Install the rear floor side stowage compartment cover.
