Windshield Washer Pump: Service and Repair

IMPORTANT
^ Front and rear washer pump replacement procedures are the same.

Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative battery cable from battery.
2. Connector (1) from front washer pump (2).
3. Hose (5) from front washer pump (2).
4. Front washer pump (2) from washer solvent container assembly (7).
A. Pull top of front washer pump (2) out from side of washer solvent container assembly (7).
B. Pull front washer pump (2) up out of washer solvent container assembly (7).

Install or Connect

IMPORTANT
^ Using windshield washer solvent, lubricate washer pump where installed in rubber grommet.

1. Front washer pump (2) in washer solvent container assembly (7).
A. Push front washer pump (2) down into washer solvent container assembly (7) completely.
B. Push top of front washer pump (2) into side of washer solvent container assembly (7).
2. Hose (5) to front washer pump (2).
3. Connector (1) to front washer pump (2).
4. Negative battery cable to battery.
