Horn Replacement

Removal Procedure


Caution: Battery Disconnect Caution.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the headlamp mounting bolts.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors
4. Remove the headlamp assembly.




5. Remove the bolt from the horn.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector.
7. Remove the horn (1).


Installation Procedure




1. Connect the electrical connector.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the horn (1) with the bolt.

Tighten the horn bolt to 21 N.m (16 lb ft).

3. Connect the headlamp electrical connectors.
4. Install the headlamp assembly with bolts.

Tighten the headlamp assembly bolts to 4 N.m (35 lb in)

5. Connect the negative battery cable.
