Intake Manifold Tuning Valve Actuator Solenoid Replacement

Removal Procedure






Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the intake manifold tuning (IMT) valve solenoid (2) connector.
3. Disconnect the vacuum hoses from the IMT valve solenoid (2).
4. Remove the IMT valve solenoid (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the IMT valve solenoid.
2. Connect the vacuum hoses to the IMT valve solenoid (2).
3. Connect the IMT valve solenoid (2) connector.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
