Scan Tool Data Definitions



SCAN TOOL DATA DEFINITIONS

Anti-Lockout Driver Enabled: The scan tool displays On/Off. The state of this programmable body control module (BCM) option.

Battery 1: The scan tool displays 0-25.5 volts. The state of the battery voltage supplied to the body control module.

Decoded Switch State: The BCM interprets the voltage drop across the door lock switch and displays the decoded value as Lock, Unlock or Off.

Door Lock Switch: The scan tool displays volts. This is a value that is equal to the value of voltage drop across the door lock switch.

Driver Door Unlock Fdbk.: The scan tool displays On/Off. This input to the BCM displays the state of the driver door unlock relay feedback circuit. On is displayed when the BCM is providing battery voltage to the driver door lock actuator unlock control circuit.

Driver Door Switch: The scan tool displays open/closed. Open is displayed when the driver door is open, closed is displayed when the driver door is closed.

Lock All Doors Fdbk.: The scan tool displays On/Off. This input to the BCM displays the state of the door lock relay feedback circuit. On is displayed when the BCM is providing battery voltage door lock actuator lock control circuit.

Pass Door Switch: The scan tool displays Open/Closed. Open is displayed when at least one passenger door is open, closed is displayed when all passenger doors are closed.

Trunk Ajar Switch: The scan tool displays Trunk Closed/Trunk Ajar. The scan tool displays Trunk Ajar when the trunk is open.

Trunk Release Solenoid: The scan tool displays On/Off. The scan tool momentarily displays On when the trunk release solenoid is commanded ON.

Trunk Release Status: The scan tool displays Enabled/Disabled. The scan tool will display the state of the trunk release.

Trunk Release Switch: The scan tool displays Active/Inactive. The scan tool displays active when the trunk release switch is depressed.

Unlock All Doors Fdbk.: The scan tool displays On/Off. This input displays the state of the door unlock relay feedback circuit. On is displayed when the BCM is providing battery voltage to the door lock actuator unlock control circuit.
