Suspension - Rear End Squawk Noise On Low Speed Bumps

Subject: Squawk/Squeak Type Noise from Rear Suspension While Driving Over Bumps at Low Speeds (Replace Rear Suspension Insulators)

This bulletin is being revised to add the 2010 model year. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 06-03-09-005D (Section 03 - Suspension).

Condition

Some customers may comment on a squawk or squeak type noise coming from the rear suspension. This noise typically occurs while driving over bumps at low speeds.

Cause

The cause of this noise may be the rear suspension insulators.

Correction

Replace the rear suspension insulators following the Control Arm Bushing (Suspension Insulator) Replacement procedure in SI.
