Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (2.0L (LSJ))

Tools Required

J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (2.0L (LSJ)) Draining and Filling Cooling System (2.2L (L61), 2.4L (LE5)) Draining and Filling Cooling System (GE 47716 Fill).
2. Lower the vehicle.
3. Remove the air intake duct.
4. Remove the fan shroud.




5. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp at the radiator using J 38185.
6. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.
7. Remove the underhood electrical center.




8. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp at the engine using J 38185.
9. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the engine.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the radiator outlet hose to the radiator.
2. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp to secure the hose using J 38185.
3. Install the underhood electrical center.




4. Install the radiator outlet hose to the engine.
5. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp to secure the hose using J 38185.
6. Install the fan shroud.
7. Install the air intake duct.
8. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (2.0L (LSJ)) Draining and Filling Cooling System (2.2L (L61), 2.4L (LE5)) Draining and Filling Cooling System (GE 47716 Fill).
