Crank/No Start, Blown Fuel Pump Fuse (Replace Fuse and Repair Wiring Harness)

Models:
2006-2008 Chevrolet Impala, Impala SS

Condition

Some customers may comment that the vehicle cranks but does not start.

Cause

The cause of this condition may be due to the fuel pump fuse being blown or open.

Correction





Inspect the wire harness under the rear seat for chafing. The affected wire is circuit 120, gray wire, between connectors C200 and C405. If wire chafing is found, reroute the harness away from the area of chafing and repair any damaged circuits per instructions in SI.
