Case Cover Removal
Case Cover RemovalTools RequiredJ 44538 Torx(R) 30+
1.
Remove the indicated case cover bolts (434-436).
2.
Use J 44538 to remove case cover bolt (433).
Important: Be sure to hold the manual valve (404) in place. 3.
Lift the case cover assembly (400) off of the case.
4.
Remove the thrust washer (432).
5.
Remove the upper (430) and the lower (429) case cover gaskets.
