Front Seat Replacement - Bucket

Removal Procedure

1. Move the seat full forward.
2. Remove the seat belt anchor bolt from the front seat assembly. Refer to Seat Belt Retractor Pretensioner Replacement - Front .




3. Remove the front seat mounting fasteners and tilt the seat forward.
4. Disconnect the electrical wire harness and remove the push-in fastener from beneath the seat.
5. Remove the seat.



Installation Procedure

1. Perform the front seat track synchronization procedure. Refer to Front Seat Track Synchronization .
2. Install the seat into the vehicle.




3. Connect the electrical wire harness and install the push-in fastener beneath the seat.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice .

4. Install the front seat mounting fasteners.

Tighten the fasteners to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).


Important: Verify that the shoulder belt is not twisted.

5. Install the seat belt anchor bolt to the front seat assembly. Refer to Seat Belt Retractor Pretensioner Replacement - Front .
