Exhaust Pressure Differential Sensor Pipe Replacement (Pickup)

Removal Procedure




1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Reposition the exhaust differential pressure sensor pipe assembly hose clamps (3).
3. Remove the exhaust differential pressure sensor pipe assembly hoses from the sensor.




4. Remove the exhaust differential pressure sensor pipe bracket bolt and nut.




5. Loosen the exhaust differential pressure sensor pipe assembly fittings (1).




6. Remove the exhaust differential pressure sensor pipe assembly.

Installation Procedure






Important: Ensure to route the pipe assembly over the frame crossmember.

1. Position and install the exhaust differential pressure sensor pipe assembly to the vehicle.






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Tighten the exhaust differential pressure sensor pipe assembly fittings (1).

Tighten the fittings to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).




3. Position the exhaust differential pressure sensor pipe bracket to the exhaust hanger and install the bolt and nut.

Tighten the bracket bolt/nut to 9 N.m (80 lb in).




4. Install the exhaust differential pressure sensor pipe assembly hoses to the sensor.
5. Position the exhaust differential pressure sensor pipe assembly hose clamps (3).
6. Lower the vehicle.
