Ambient Light Sensor: Service and Repair

AMBIENT LIGHT SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) top cover.




2. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) to the ambient light sensor on the underside of the I/P top cover.
3. Turn the ambient light sensor 1/4 turn and remove it from the I/P top cover.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the ambient light sensor to the underside of the I/P top cover, turning it 1/4 turn to secure it in place.




2. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the ambient light sensor on the underside of the I/P top cover.
3. Install the I/P top cover.
