Transfer Case Front Output Shaft Speed Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the transfer case shield, if equipped.
2. Disconnect the front speed sensor electrical connector (5).




3. Remove the front speed sensor.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

1. Install the front speed sensor.

Tighten the speed sensor to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).




2. Connect the front speed sensor electrical connector (5).
3. Install the transfer case shield, if equipped.
