Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair
Camshaft Position Sensor ReplacementRemoval Procedure 1.
Remove the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector (1).
2.
Remove the CMP sensor retaining bolt.
Installation Procedure Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.
1.
Install the CMP sensor.
Tighten the CMP sensor bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in). 2.
Install the CMP sensor electrical connector (1).
