Fixed Antenna Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the antenna mast from the base.
2. Unscrew the locking nut from the base in order to release the base from the fender.
3. Remove the instrument panel insulator.
4. Remove the cowl side trim panel.
5. Disconnect the antenna cable from the antenna extension lead.
6. Cable is in a harness wrapped in blue tape. Note the routing of the cable.
7. Remove the antenna base and cable assembly from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Route the antenna base and cable assembly as noted in the removal.
2. Connect the antenna cable to the antenna extension lead.
3. Install the cowl side trim panel.
4. Install the instrument panel insulator.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

5. Tighten the locking nut in order to secure the antenna base to the fender.

Tighten the nut to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

6. Install the antenna mast.
