Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Lower the front door window.
2. Remove the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement (Power Mirror Replacement).




3. Remove the inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement).
4. Use a flat-bladed tool in order to pry up at the front of the outer belt sealing strip from the inside edge.
5. Remove the front door outer belt window sealing strip from the pinch-weld flange.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the front door outer belt window sealing strip to the pinch-weld flange.
2. Use hand pressure in order to firmly seat the outer belt sealing strip.
3. Install the inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement).
4. Install the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Motor Replacement (Service and Repair).
5. Raise the front door window.
