Reading Lamp Bulb Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the reading lamp. Refer to Reading Lamp Replacement Service and Repair.





2. Twist the reading lamp bulb sockets (1) counter clockwise and remove it from the reading lamp assembly (2).





Note:
The reading lamp bulb (1) is removed by pulling it away from the reading lamp bulb socket (2).

3. Remove the reading lamp bulb (1) from the reading lamp bulb socket (2).

Installation Procedure





1. Install a new reading lamp bulb (1) to the reading lamp bulb socket (2).





2. Install the reading lamp bulb sockets (1) into the reading lamp assembly (2) and twist the reading lamp bulb socket (1) clockwise to secure.

3. Install the reading lamp. Refer to Reading Lamp Replacement Service and Repair.

4. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Primary) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Primary)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Auxiliary) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Auxiliary).

5. Check the reading lamp for correct operation.
