Wheel Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

Wheel Speed Sensor Components Removal:






REMOVAL
1. Remove splash shield front only.
2. Follow procedure in above image.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure with regard to the following.

Measuring Distance Between Sensor Installation Surface And ABS Rotor's Toothed Surface:





^ The clearance between the speed sensor and the ABS rotor's toothed surface is not adjustable, but measure the distance between the sensor installation surface and the ABS rotor's toothed surface. Standard value: 28.2 - 28.5 mm (1.11 - 1.12 inches)
2. Check wheel speed sensor output voltage. Testing and Inspection
3. Install splash shield front only.
