Removal

REMOVAL

1. Mask the folding top canopy around the backlite opening (outside) to prevent canopy contamination during repair of the backlite.
2. Unlatch the folding top but leave in the raised position.
3. Detach the headliner retainer by pulling the retainer away from the backlite ring.
4. Disconnect the two rear window defogger connectors.
5. Cut out the broken glass taking care not to contact the canopy with the blade.
